Glimpses of some Hejje Foundation Initiatives

Hejje Foundation facilitated a camp that brought together students from two different settings: NSS (National Service Scheme) students of MLA College, Bangalore, and students from anganwadis/villages around Hejjala. Usha BR and Krishnaveni, students of SCV High School, were awarded a cash gift of Rs 10,000 each for their higher education. Both girls had passed the Matriculation exam with flying colours and got admission to the Polytechnic College, Bangalore. Hejje Foundation organised a medical camp in Manchananayakanahalli Panchayat. Medical know-how was provided by BGS Global Institute of Medical Sciences and Hospital, and assistance was provided by NSS volunteers from MLA College, Malleswaram, with whom we have a running collaboration.
