Hejje Foundation organised a medical camp in Manchananayakanahalli Panchayat. Medical know-how was provided by BGS Global Institute of Medical Sciences and Hospital, and assistance was provided by NSS volunteers from MLA College, Malleswaram, with whom we have a running collaboration. The camp was conducted at the local Anjaneya Temple, whose management kindly waived all charges for use of the venue. A local benefactor supplied water free of charge. The panchayat president and others had spread the word and over 300 patients from several villages made their way to the venue. They complaints were attended to and they expressed their hope that more such camps would be held regularly.
