NSS (National Service Scheme) students from MLA College and BMS College, Bangalore, were invited to participate in a camp organised by Hejje Foundation in Bhadrapura village.  The camp comprised several sessions, conducted across six days in different locations: 

• Four sessions, held in the primary school at Bhadrapura, focused on English and Mathematics. Students were encouraged to ask questions and understand concepts which they felt were difficult. In keeping with the idea that learning should be fun, methodology was based on learning through games.
• A day-long session for primary students at SCV High School, Hejjala, focused on teaching the importance of group activities and encouraging participation in them. Interspersed with group games, this session received an enthusiastic response from students.
• Volunteers performed Shramdan by participating in an on-going concrete road laying project at Bhadrapura.
